Our Red Cedar Deck Kits consist of:
- Pressure-treated 2x6 joists & plates and 2x8 beams
- 5/4x4 Red Cedar Tight-knot boards
- Pier blocks
- Epoxy Screws, Nails and of course our own step by step instruction guide.
Custom sized Deck kits are also available, and we can also exchange 4" Red Cedar Deck boards for either 6" wide Red or Yellow Cedar, Trex™ Synthetic Decking or even 5" Pressure-treated Pine.

We currently stock both Red (RC) and Yellow Cedar (YC) Deck boards.
Yellow Cedar is only available in Tight-knot grade, and only in 6" width. Red Cedar is available in both Tight-knot and Clear grades and in both 4" and 6" widths.
Available from 2'- 20' our Cedar deck boards are 'eased-edge' rather than 'raduis-edge'.

Pressure-treated or 'P.T.' lumber is wood that has undergone a process to make it more durable so that it is not susceptible to water, rot, termites, or fungus. If you're working on a budget, 5/4x5 PT Pine decking is a less expensive option to Cedar or Trex™

Choosing the right sub-structure is an important safety feature when building a new deck and will mean that your deck can last decades rather than years. Sikkens Cetol® SRD is a one coat translucent exterior wood finish based on a special oil and alkyd resin combination. The product uses a transparent iron-oxide pigmentation to provide an ultraviolet screen for the wood. Cetol SRD is for wall shakes, siding, shingles, and decks. We sell a variety of Planters which are a great addition to your yard or deck. Our Corner Planter (pictured) is constructed using 1x6 Tongue & Groove boards, and 1x3 Trim. Feet made from 2x4 Cedar keep the planter slightly elevated from the ground and help with drainage.
